The tournament works as a preseason preparation for the players.

-Normally we start with off-season workouts which focus on fitness followed by teaching skills, tactics, and set games. Once in season we expose our teams to various different competitions. Playing teams abroad is tough for us, but it is also good, says the Manager.

The different schools that the players in the Pacers come from in India is Sulochanadevi Singhania School in Thane, National Public School and Bishop Cotton Girls School in Banglore.
With the six day long adventure it is a great trip for the Pacers and Liseberg is popular among the players.

-Liseberg is one thing that we really enjoy, but we also think that Sweden is a very beautiful country with lovely people and nice weather. It is the third time we will play in the Gothenburg Basketball Festival, says Rutika in conclusion.
