As the festival grows, the Gothenburg Basketball Festival has chosen to invest in a digital solution with the new Cup-Pass.
In 2023, 736 teams from 12 countries participated, and we engaged over 7,500 participants in our channels. By expanding our partnership with Cup Manager as the platform for tournament registration, payment solutions, draws, and game schedules, we are offering a digital Cup-Pass for the Gothenburg Basketball Festival 2024. This is a more sustainable solution for the experience of all participants and the organization, saving time and eliminating the need for unnecessary plastic cards.
All youth teams are offered the option to purchase a Cup-Pass through the Gothenburg Basketball Festival. Youth teams can choose between Cup-Pass A, which includes accommodation and full board in single school lodgings, or Cup-Pass B, for accommodation at Scandic hotel or Gothengurg hostel, and also half-board in the Gothenburg Basketball Festival's three dining halls.
Thanks to the digital Cup-Pass, all teams will have the opportunity to check in digitally through the app from April 22 onwards. With digital check-in, teams no longer need to go to Gothia Arena for their check-in and card pickup. Teams will have access to their Cup-Pass in the app. Our new Cup-Passes replace our previous versions of participant cards and cup cards.
